Inkubator Włączenia Społecznego 2.0

A partnership consisting of two entities, Regionalny Ośrodek Polityki Społecznej w Krakowie (Leader) and Krakowskie Centrum Innowacyjnych Technologii INNOAGH sp. z o.o. (Partner), has received a grant from the European Union for the project: ‘Social Inclusion Incubator 2.0.

The aim of the project, titled Social Inclusion Incubator 2.0 (IWS 2.0), is to increase the use of social innovations in the process of broadly understood social inclusion of individuals at risk of poverty or social exclusion (including children) through the incubation and acceleration of new products, services, work methods, and IT solutions.

In the project, we plan to provide support in the following areas:

• Development and testing of new ideas,
• Acceleration of existing innovative solutions,
• Subsequently, dissemination and implementation activities for the solutions that have proven most effective during the testing phase.

The target group for IWS 2.0 consists of grant recipients (social innovators), including individuals, private or public entities (such as businesses, NGOs), and informal groups, with an idea for an innovative tool, service, or method that will contribute to improving social inclusion.

Ultimately, the social innovations developed in the project will be accessible to individuals who are excluded or at risk of exclusion (e.g., due to age, disability, place of residence, or employment status).

The main outcome of the project will be the dissemination of a minimum of 9 innovations (at least 6 after incubation and 3 after acceleration), which will represent the most effective responses to threats related to social exclusion.

The project is implemented as part of Priority Axis V in the European Social Fund program (Action 5.1: Social Innovations), commissioned by the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy, and is funded by the European Union.
